This means your pillows are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. If you wear makeup to bed or sleep without showering, your pillow cases are likely to be even more dirty meaning contamination can happen much faster. This is the perfect environment for pimples to appear!

Change your pillow cases every 2-3 days to ensure they are kept nice and clean. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, and apply a face mask weekly. Before you go to sleep make sure your face is completely dry and does not have any remnants of product left, as dampness encourages mould to grow, inviting more bacteria onto your pillow.
